由普立茲獎小說「The Hours」作者麥可康寧漢的第二本小說「A Home At The End Of The World」親自(康寧漢本人)改編的電影。由科林法洛、蘿賓萊特潘、西西史派克所主演，描述現代人追尋平靜生活與精神依歸的故事。 電影音樂特別找來創作才子Duncan Sheik根據故事背景，創作出5首全新作品，其中包括3首演奏曲。此外，還加入了橫跨60-80年代，如Jefferson Airplane、Dusty Springfield、Patti Smith、YAZ等藝人的經典代表作。
